Good to know

What is special about 2032?
  • In 2032, only six public holidays fall on a weekday. Between 2024 and 2035, only 2026 and 2027 have as few.
  • Falling on a weekend: Swiss National Day (Sun 1 Aug), Assumption Day (Sun 15 Aug) and Christmas Day (Sat 25 Dec). As a rule, there is no entitlement to a substitute day.
  • In 2032, All Saints' Day (Mon 1 Nov) also gives you a long weekend without taking leave.
  • Easter is early in 2032, on 28 March. Ascension Day (6 May) and Whitsun (16 May) are correspondingly early.
  • The most worthwhile bridges: Ascension Day and Corpus Christi, each with 1 day of leave for 4 days off in a row. Calculate all bridge days in 2032
